Singer Candye Kane has died at 54 of cancer. I had her on my first list back in 2010 and was happy to take her off it in subsequent years. But pancreatic cancer is a beast that rarely lets go. She fought really hard (and was a fantastic singer) 
Musician Jane Little, the world’s longest-serving orchestra musician, died while playing “There’s No Business Like Show Business.”
Wonderful story.

To be fair, the same can be said for a lot of posts here, particularly when people respond to things like “What song do you blah, blah, blah…” and what’s returned is a Youtube link. Well, fucking thanks, considering a lot of people are banned from Youtube at work and don’t have a clue what song was just mentioned.
But it goes beyond just Youtube. We have a policy for including descriptive thread titles, and I don’t see why we can’t carry that over to posts.
