Perhaps we could have two score keepers?
I’m scorekeeper/host. He posts the scores (if he wishes) in the style that you, KayT, and a few others likes, but that’s pretty much a favor he volunteers to do.
You’re confused. I was assuming he was doing it in cooperation with you, because his rankings were in **your **way, rather than the way many of us prefer.
IOW, your ranking and phungi’s both tell you what place the number of your score has, relative to the numbers of the other scores: 47 is in first place, 37 is in second place, 27 is in third, 20 in fourth, and 18 in fifth. 18 is in fifth because four numbers that people have for scores are ahead of it, regardless of how many people’s scores coincide with those four numbers.
He wasn’t doing it in cooperation with me…but no matter or worries, I have already PMed him and we’ve had a discussion and worked things out.
By the way, the chart says I have no unique picks. Does that mean that someone else has the two remaining Dionne Quintuplets?
Idle Thoughts and I shared a few messages and ironed out strategies for moving forward. He is running the Pool and I created a Scorekeeper that previously was only used in the background. He will post updates, and I will follow with scores in the “old format”. If anyone wants to keep score on their own, PM me for a copy of the spreadsheet.
Will check the “unique picks” logic and try to update.
If anyone is interested, these are the people you hear about whose diabetes was cured with a pancreas transplant. In my family, kidney disease is rare, but many people who face adult-onset T1D also have kidney failure and need a transplant. T1D is better managed through injections or an insulin pump, and taking anti-rejection drugs is riskier than insulin injections; however, if someone is having a kidney transplant anyway, surgeons will often use the pancreas from the same donor, and if all the organs “take,” the person no longer needs shots. They will be taking anti-rejection drugs for the kidney anyway, so they might as well have the pancreas.
The stats only reflect Unique Picks once they “expire”. I had not considered figuring out way to document the number of individuals on people’s lists that are unique, but might tackle this next year.
Secretary to some lawyer dies, survived by superhero son.
RIP, my fault, I was considering him for my list this year but did drop him…
He is a volunteer? So you are paid to do this?
No this one is on me as well. I dropped him because reports were he beat the cancer.
No, I AM SPARTACUS!
Er, I had him as an alternate.
dammit.
As did I
double dammit
I’m right there with you. I had Moore as an alternate.
A couple years back I would have a unique pick worth 50+ points had I had that Dutch prince on my list instead of as an alternate.
So far the Alien actors are dying in the same order their characters in the movie did!
It’s amazing he lived this long after being shot every week.
I’ll always remember her for her greatest role.
