This is sad. He was one of my all-time favorite players. We even had a wonderful dog who we named Pedro after the slugger.
This is his second major stroke, and they’ve both been within the last 2 years. After his first one, he had a cerebral bypass done. It’s essentially like the cardiac/arterial bypasses that people have done, only it’s in his brain.
