“Where-ever I end up, I guess” ------ I don’t know how many times I’ve used that line in the last 44 years of riding. I went so far as to build a copy of that bike once. You don’t see them as often as you do Captain America clones but its a worthwhile project.
I had a John Player Special for a while. Somewhere I still have the small pair of needle-nosed I used to put the key in and out of the ignition. There was no freaking way my fingers were getting up under that clip-on. Now the one I regret NOT keeping was my 500cc one-banger Manx Norton. I just got way tired back then of always having to park it on hills so bump-starting it was possible. ![]()
