Lisa Spoonauer, who played Caitlin Bree in Kevin Smith’s Clerks, has died at 44. No word yet on a cause that I’ve found.
Her brothers set up a fund page to give to a patient advocate group for those dealing with chronic illness. They don’t mention specifically what her illness was but apparently it wasn’t sudden.

On a semi-related note ---- the Old Wench was going for a basically Pittsburgh theme this year with a few wild cards stuck in. I suggested Russ Geotz and her response was “who?”. I knew basically because I went to school with his son for a while. I looked the other night and had she picked him, she would be even further ahead of me than she is.
