I’m actually a bit of a fan of Glen Campbell. “Wichita Lineman” is a song for the ages, and “Galveston” and “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” are both extremely good songs. I remember wearing out the grooves of a 45 of “Try a Little Kindness” that I got for Christmas in 1969.

Former University of Arkansas football coach, athletic director, ABC commentator,Frank Broyles has died at age 92.
Bernard Kenny, who was awarded the George Medal, has died at 21 points.
I considered posting that, but I did not know him to be a celebrity outside the state.
He was certainly well-known to college football fans when Arkansas was a football power back when he was the head coach. I recognized the name immediately, and I hadn’t thought of him in decades. And I’ve never lived anywhere near Arkansas. One of the few states I’ve never even set foot in, actually.
And the outsiders say we are not a moral bunch…
