tags display the rankings. Any advice from the mods on how to best display a list of text?

Wow, that’s horrible!
I tried using
myself just now, copying from a Notepad file - looks like it doesn't recognize 'Enter' as a carriage return anymore. And it isn't like the keyboard has any other way of telling the word processor that you're beginning a new line.
Used to be, whatever you had in Notepad,
would show it just as it was in Notepad. Not now.
Seems like I can try tweeking the format using the
tags...

Troy Gentry of the county music duo Montgomery Gentry was killed today in a helicopter crash. He was 50.
Alex Pournelle reports that her husband, SF author Jerry Pournelle, died today in his sleep, at age 84.
Correction, Alex is not Jerry’s wife. Alex is Jerry’s son.
Damn those unisex names!
Seriously, though, this is a great loss to science fiction. Vaya con Dios, Jerry.

Don Williams, the Country Music Hall of Fame member whose imposing height and warm, reassuring voice earned him the nickname “Gentle Giant,” died Friday, September 8th, after a short illness. An internationally popular country star, Williams recorded dozens of hit songs, including “Tulsa Time,” “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good” and “It Must Be Love.” He was 78.

Well today I learned that Montgomery Gentry wasn’t the name of one county singer.
Former child actor Blake Heron dead at 35. My kids loved the movie Shiloh.
Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t landed Gentry.

But, the
