Oh noble Angel of Death, this here poster has died and been reborn as “Lamoral”. Just so’s you know.
Anybody have Charlotte Rae for 8 points?
There go my hopes for a Facts of Life/Golden Girls reboot/mashup.
With all the hot, extreme weather lately, I’m surprised there haven’t been more dearly departed. Either they havn’t been found yet (Yuck), or air conditioning is the greatest invention of the 20th century…
Rest in peace, Mrs. Garrett.
Well, we still have Cloris Leachman.
Huh, I just checked out of curiosity, and Leachman is exactly eight days younger than Rae.

Former Nevada governor and senator Paul Laxalt dead at 96.

Joël Robuchon has mashed his last potato at 73.
I just read that Rick Genest (aka Zombie Boy) died earlier this week at the age of 32.

Originally listed as suicide…they are now unsure if he fell.
Not a 2018 death, but just found out about it: Thomas Docking, former Lt. Governor of Kansas, and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate (also son and grandson of KS governors) died last August.
It hits close to home because this is someone I played with when I was a kid. My grandparents and the Docking family both lived in Arkansas City, KS, and were friends, which is how I knew Tom. My family would celebrate Christmas each year with my Kansas relatives, and we’d usually spend some time visiting the Dockings.
Crap. I had Stan Mikita on my list last year but not this year. RIP.
Leukemia was given a couple mulligans to get Jarrod Lyle, a pro golfer from Australia. He would have been on my list this year had I remembered to submit one. He was 36
