I’m surprised only three of us had her. She was a bandwagon pick a few years ago when ominous news about her health came out as the 12/31 deadline for that year was coming up, so I’m surprised there’s not more carryover just from that. I’ve had her on and off my annual list since before that, just based on her appearance looking less and less healthy in recent years. And while of course points is points, RIP, Aretha.

Yeah, I was sure she’d be on almost every ones list. Then again, she stayed on mine more out of habit - and for fear that if I should take her off, she would have died spectacularly on January 1. purely out of spite.

Today’s paper’s “Happy Birthday” column listed today as his birthday. Does that mean it’s only 14.9 points? Or do they expect him to have a happy day despite being dead? I guess we will never know.
