Here’s one that I learned recently. Judge Dredd artist Ron Smith has died. He was 94, and had long since retired, but through the 80s was a dedicated and distinctive artist for 2000AD comic, doing some of my favourite work, especially in the collections of short strips in the Daily Star newspaper.
Maybe notfrommensa actually IS the grim reaper. Just smart enough not to list his own picks this quickly, lest the ruse be uncovered.
