She wasn’t eligible for inclusion in the deathpool due to her age, and being famous for being sick, but I’d like to note the passing of Zei Uwadia. In 2017, her lungs failed, and the 16 year old had to be placed on life support. She became the hospital’s first person ever to sit up while on the life-support machine. And the first to stand. And the first to walk while hooked up to life-support. She was on the machines for a total of 189 days. Anything over 100 is rare.
She passed away earlier this month, at her home, at the age of 17.

Looks like my instincts about Bobby Knight might be correct. He isn’t dead, and I’m not wishing it on him - I mean, he may be a legendary asshole but I still have some respect for him as a coach - but a story just broke reporting that his health is “in decline.”
I put him on my list because I don’t think a lifetime of stress and anger is likely to be good for someone’s long-term health, and if there’s anyone who’s the picture of stress and anger, it’s him.
Chill out, Bobby, try to maybe let the grudges go, perhaps take up meditation or something…or don’t… maybe he would be happy to know that even in death he’d be racking up points on a scoreboard, even if it’s this one.
