Paul Darrow, who played Avon on Blake’s 7, becoming the leader of five after Blake was killed off rendering the show title meaningless, has died aged 78.
Had to check to see if he died (Blake’s 7 ending spoiler)
in a hail of laser fire

How can a game so easy be so hard?
First Lady of Israel Nechama Rivlin, dead at age 73.
Robert Bernstein, publisher and founder of various human rights organizations that would eventually merge into Human Rights Watch.
Louis Levi Oakes, last of the Mohawk Code Talkers
Leah Chase, chef owner of Dooky Chase restaurant. I was fortunate to eat there for the first time in March while she was still around.
Dr. John died this morning of a heart attack. Age 77.
For once, I’m too bummed to come up with a joke. My wife and I really loved his music, and had seen him perform live several times.
That’s a very sad thing. We saw him a couple years ago and he was very frail. I’m almost ashamed of myself for having put him on my list and thus gotten some points. Almost.

It’s okay, Firefly. I got your back.
He was in the right place but it must have been the wrong time
Well played, sir!
Maida Heatter dies a pointless death, at 102.
I have two of her cookbooks.
Hope the COD was not food poisoning.
Alabama University superfan Walt Gary has died at 36.
FYI, Girma Wolde-Giorgis died on 15 December 2018 https://www.google.com/search?ei=cyz7XL2GHq3U5gKTsbO4Dg&q=Girma+Wolde-Giorgis&oq=Girma+Wolde-Giorgis&gs_l=psy-ab.3…0j0i22i30l8.14586.15900…16523…1.0…1.103.980.12j1…0…1j2…gws-wiz…6…35i39.sDf9j85KD88
Thus, Ms. Deathmistress, Mel Blanc moves to the “A” team from the alternate list.
Did I get this correct?

This is a weird one: '50s Mouseketeer Dennis Day went missing last July. Coroners recently confirmed that the body they found in his house in April was indeed him.
He had been missing for 8 months, people were looking for him, and they found his body in his own house.
And a home they had already searched, apparently. That is very odd.
ETA: They couldn’t use dental records or DNA to identify the body, it says. I’m surprised they couldn’t get DNA from the teeth. Unless maybe there weren’t any left. Very strange, all around.
The body wasn’t necessarily found in the house. Per Wikipedia: “Police had searched Day’s residence and elsewhere, but in early April 2019 human remains were discovered on the property.”(emphasis mine) It is a very rural area.
For anyone as confused as I was before googling the name(s) “Dennis Day” - the Mouseketeer was not the same person as the older, more famous Dennis Day the singer, most famous(probably) from The Jack Benny Show both on radio and TV, and who died in 1988.
