But which one sang Que Sera Sera?
mmm
Anthony Rodham, Hillary’s youngest brother, has died at age 65.
Yes, you sure did.
But Mel Blanc died in 1989
Sorry, wrong Mel. Mel Brooks.
For just a moment I thought you were reporting that Mel had gone up forever with the Jews in Space. Don’t do that! ![]()
Just checked, he is OK.
[sub]I still would like to see him someday play Goodgulf Greyteeth, the wizard in Bored of the Rings.[/sub]
Who would you want for Frito?

Although, in a semi-serious note, it would be a good parody of Whitewashing, and as a bonus, get the lucrative Chinese movie market. ![]()
I would prefer to see Rick Moranis coming back from retirement and de-aged digitally. ![]()
Semyon Rozenfeld, last known surviving escapee from Sobibor, died at age 96 (or 97, he was born in 1922 but I can’t find a month/day) in Israel on June 3.
I think Mel Brooks would be a great Goodgulf. As far as Frito, etc. are concerned, I’d love to see the actors who played Bilbo, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin in Peter Jackson’s LOTR play Dildo, Frito, Spam, Moxie, and Pepsi in a movie adaptation of BOTR.
I think you’d need someone goofier than Viggo Mortensen to play Arrowroot of Arrowshirt, though.
David “Big Papi” Ortiz was shot over the weekend in the Dominican Republic. I don’t think his injuries are life threatening, but he does have liver and gall bladder damage.
Roger Hirson, screenwriter and Tony winning dramatist (for Pippen).
Mary Max wife of artist Peter Max, a suicide at age 52.
Bill Wittliff, screenwriter of Lonesome Dove (produced as well) and A Perfect Storm.
Bushwick Bill is dead at 52.
Do I understand that Peter Max is still alive, but suffering from dementia? Was she his primary caregiver, or is he in some sort of care center?
Apparently, Mary was taking care of Peter, but the whole thing was a horrible legal battle.
Director Franco Zeffirelli passed away today; he was 96 years old.
His Romeo and Juliet, from 1968, is still the best.
