When Charo dies, how the hell are we going to figure out how many points to give out?
Wayne Fitzgerald, Emmy award winning title designer with over 500 TV shows and movies to his name.
Asim Umar, head of al Qaeda in the sub-continent, killed (pointlessly *) in a raid on his compound.
Multiply her by Joan Crawford and then divide by 2 Laurence Fishburnes?
Semi-related and unknown to anyone outside the MMP ------ when Dad died we were at a loss. We knew at a certain point he had his age raised by a baptismal certificate (all the town/county/state records had been lost in a fire) so he could join the military several years underage. And then we know he faked a birth certificate outright making himself younger after the service since people were talking about “mandatory retirement” and things like that. We basically had a 6 year span – we knew it was after this year but before this year. Mother just took her best guess and that went in the obit and on his stone.
(Once she joins him and Beloved Brother joins them both, assuming I am still alive, I’m adding a question mark to his stone)
I had him on my 2015 list of astronauts/cosmonauts.![]()
ActorRobert Forster, 78
What’s the most years someone has played this game without scoring any points? Asking for a friend…
Well, I have the spreadsheets for 2013-2016, plus this year. It would take a while to sorts through them. Someone else did 2017-2018.
I did, when I had nothing better to do, compile a list of the celebs who were on each list. There were a total of thirty-five who appeared on all five of the lists I have done so far. I didn’t search theri names for 2017-2018, but I’m assuming, for what that’s worth, they were there too.
You try that line on a group of people who know you? ![]()
Also fun is what I posted last year.
I started playing before I became the Death Mistress, but kept no records of who I picked.
My oldest surviving list is from 2013. I was going for the “Quantity, not Quality” award, and picked film people who were between ninety five and one hundread years old. ONly two obliged me, for a total of three points. Of course three of them died in 2014. Of the thirteen picks I had, four are still alive, all over one hundred now.
Earl Camerson 8/8/1917
Marsha Hunt 10/17/1917
Nehemiah Persoff 8/2/1919
Norman Lloyd 11/8/1914
I wouldn’t advise picking them, they have got very, VERY, good at staying alive.
I have a list from 2004 and nobody I picked is still living. But one of them didn’t die until 2016. The rest, 2004 to 2008.
If I looked , could probably find one from before that one.
Poet and Artist John Giorno has died at 82. He collaborated with William Burroughs, Laurie Anderson, Throbbing Gristle, Allen Ginsburg, and others. A brilliant artist.
I did manage to find my 2005 list online, and none of them are alive.
Never kept any old lists but at best maybe 6 are gone total. Dropping someone seems to be the nail in their coffin.
Stephen Moore, who once played the Silurian Eldane, has died at 81.
I think you ought to know I’m feeling very depressed.

I understood that reference.
