A warning sign of dementia? When you forget you already said something and repeat yourself.

The memory is the first thing to go, and I can’t remember the second thing.

Those doggone Gateway timeouts is apparently the third.

That’s the kind of dementia my mother had. I hate that my favorite Python had it too. :frowning:

Bet you didn’t see this twist coming -
Carol Serling, wife of ‘The Twilight Zone’s” Rod Serling, dead at 90

American newscaster Jim Lehner will not be coming down for breakfast. He was eighty-five years old.

As the Titans were losing in the playoffs, Tennessean columnist David Climer, a big fan and apparently well known in Nashville, ended up losing his own battle.

This was mentioned in the theme thread, but not here:

John Karlen of Dark Shadows fame.

I suppose that Barnabas, er, “outlived” many of his, er, “assistants”.

And also of Cagney & Lacey fame, for which he was nominated three times for an Emmy and won once. It was often said that what made Tyne Daly so beautiful and beloved on that show was the way John Karlen played her husband.

But he may have played more different rolls <checks Wiki> I was right; twice as many.
The one thing that always got me with that show was how often the same faces got new names and stories.

I was watching re-runs of Dark Shadows with my nine year old step daughter. It was a Frankenstein’s monster thing. I thought it might frighten her, but she asked, “Is that thing supposed to be breathing?”

Loved him as Willie.

Longtime Congressman Pete Stark, 88.

TMZ: Kobe Bryant ,41, killed in helicopter crash.

Kobe? No, not Kobe. OMG.

Kobe being dead doesn’t sadden me
