Celebrity Death Pool 2020

Fair enough. Not that big a deal to me. I’m not going to champion the cause.

The story now is that she went to her ex-husbands house with her new husband and ambushed him. She was killed while trying to kill her ex. It’s a bizarre story but so far no arrests and the ex who fired the shots is free and able to give a press conference.

A cutoff age doesn’t really matter to me - I was just scratching my head over the reasoning.

It’s not likely that I would have heard of any very young celebrities, so ninety points for a ten year old kicking off would go to somebody else’s list anyhow

To me the reasoning is any child who is picked most likely is very ill. Who is hoping for a child to die?

Jason Davis who was famous enough to be on Celebrity Rehab but not famous enough for me to have ever heard of him is dead at 35.

British music producer and DJ Andrew Weatherall, who helped bring the underground sounds of acid house to a mass audience, has died. He was 56.

Former UAW President Owen Bieber dies aged 90

Founder of the South African musical group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Joseph Shabalala, age 78.

Of course, that’s the story of the ex and his current wife. After all, Sanders and her husband aren’t around to give their side of the story. But it seems pretty clear that they showed up armed at the ex’s house, which doesn’t exactly speak well of their intentions.

Yellow Springs, Ohio seems like a really weird place for something like this to happen. It’s best known as being the home of Antioch College, a place that definitely puts the ‘liberal’ in ‘liberal arts education.’

I just scored on my themed list(cast of MASH) for Kellye Nakahara. She died at 28 points(age 72).

Played Nurse Kelly on the show and, memorably to me, the cook in the movie Clue.

Charles Portis, author of True Grit, dead at 86.

An Arkansas author, he was known for going to award ceremonies held for him, and sneaking out before he had to speak. True Grit was a major film for John Wayne.

Keeping with the MASH theme, I failed to realize Gene Reynolds died as well. He produced it and was 96. Died almost two weeks ago.

Players, I know I am behind on checking deaths, but my keyboard got fritzed, long story. I’m getting a new one ASAP, I WILL catch up. I’m on a computer at the library now.

Esther Scott, actress from Boyz In the Hood, has died at 66.

Double post

I was looking over my list(s) and realized I misspelled one of my picks. Just to clarify Jim Carr (Canadian member of Parliament) was who I intended by Jim Karr (apologies for such a tardy correction, and I fully understand if you wish to not accept it)

Paula Kelly, stage and screen actress.

George Coyne, Priest and Science Author who espoused that intelligent design has no business being taught in schools and that science and religion aren’t necessarily opposed.

I don’t know whether it is good or bad that nobody recognized her name.

Well, hey, she was in The President’s Analyst and Real Men and A Piece of the Action (one of the more amusing episodes of Star Trek), so she did do some [del]serious[/del] stuff that people might have seen.

No problem, as long as he hasn’t garnered points for someone by dying already!

Oh, I’m typing from home now, see my previous post. When I mentioned at work that I needed a new keyboard and was going to buy one online, a coworker told me she’d seen keyboards for sale at a local resale shop, one of my favorites, called God’s storehouse. I went there after work and found they had half a dozen, priced from $2 to $4. What a deal, I’d seen one online for $13 and thought that wasn’t bad. So I bought two boards, one as a spare for the next time my cat or dog messes up one.
