Whenever someone famous dies, my wife will ask me if I had them. When I inevitably say no, she replies, “Man, you picks sucked.”

People from work text me when there is a death to ask me about my list. I tried to run one there, but had limited success. I have to remind myself how morbid it is to an outsider. I’ve submitted lists 17 years, so I’ve forgotten it isn’t something that is, uh, “normal”.
I considered signing up, until I saw a cousin of mine on somebody’s list. 
I get the same questions and I didn’t even get a list in this year.
Being on a list is not a bad thing. In some ways it is remembering and giving a nod to past influence in a poster’s life.
True. Maybe after the imminent demise takes place, I’ll reconsider.
I would be willing to be on an “all doper” list. Note: against the rules, but a possible new game?
