Sorry if this was mentioned in the 2017 Death Pool Thread and I just missed it.

I’m compiling my 2018 list now (of evil and depraved individuals as my theme) and have very paranoid concerns.

If I put down certain political figures, would it be grounds for an investigation by law enforcement officials? Would it be considered as “wishing harm” upon certain individuals?

Ok, paranoid as all get out - but I truly am afraid of the direction our country is taking. I also have (family related) reasons to be concerned.

What do others think? And, is this better suited for another forum?

It’s really up to law enforcement officials, not the SDMB, to determine what grounds for an investigation are.

If it’s any consolation, you wouldn’t be the first poster in history to enter a political figure in the Pool.

Just point out that the rules say you’d be disqualified if you help kill any of your picks.
