I went to school with a guy who looked like Cad Lackey
I used to work, at the same place, with someone who used to be spitting image of Ben Stiller, except younger (he probably still does, I just haven’t seen him in a while), and someone who is a younger version of Tamsin Grieg. In both cases I knew them as teenagers, before I was familiar with the actors, so to me the actors kinda look like them, not the other way round.
We know a guy, now retired, that spent a lot of years as a Clark Gable look alike. He apparently got a lot of work outside the US.
Since my late thirties, I’ve been told many times that I look like Ernest Hemingway, hence my avatar.
A few years back, I worked with a Russian guy who was a dead ringer for young Walter Koenig, i.e., Ensign Chekov on Star Trek. I also used to know an attorney in Seattle who looked remarkably like Jim Neighbors, aka Gomer Pyle.
Over the years, I’ve had girlfriends who could have been mistaken for Donna Douglas, Sarah Miles, Blair Brown, Margaret Colin, Donna d’Errico, and Kaley Cuoco.
When I was a kid, I played Army with a guy who looked like Eddie Fontaine, aka Pvt d’Angelo on The Gallant Men (1962–63). He had a younger brother who was the spit and image of Charles Bronson.
I once dated a girl who was a dead ringer for Janeane Garofalo. I once got mistaken for Richard Sterban, the bass singer for the Oak Ridge Boys – I signed an autograph.
A buddy of mine looks like Tom Cruise.
Liam has a lot of makeup on but I’d still do it with him!
I looked at new pictures but Bruce Willis reminds me of Billy Joel and David Letterman of John Cougar Mellencamp…must need my eyes examined!
I had a girlfriend (well, more than that – we lived together for nearly twenty years) who was the spitting image of Helena Bonham-Carter.
Many years ago, I also lived with a girl who looked remarkably like Judith Durham of The Seekers.
30 years ago a friend introduced me to a guy who looked a lot like Al Pacino, in this cafe in NYC: https://www.yelp.com/biz/caffe-dellartista-new-york
A few months later I mentioned the cafe to another friend, who said “I hear that Al Pacino hangs out there”.
In Moscow, I also knew a girl who looked remarkably like Elizabeth Hurley (this was more than 20 years ago).
Until he entered old age, my dad looked enough like John Wayne that he was sometimes mistaken for him. In her old age, my mother looked a lot like Donna Reed in hers.
I’ve been mistaken for Kathy Bates many times. One guy got seriously upset that I wouldn’t give him my autograph.
Back in the 80s, I stopped by a 7-11 where the clerk was a dead ringer for George Carlin.
I used to know someone who looked like Sarah Silverman, especially after she dyed her hair dark.
Oh that reminds me. I had a girlfriend who looked just like Yvonne Goolagong.
I once had a coworker who was the twin of Candace Bergen. Every single person commented on it.
Back when she was on the public scene, I had more than a few people tell me I looked just like Rose Perez  Sadly, I had to secretly admit I could see the resemblance but it still made we want to punch them in the neck.
He claims that for the past 40 years, not a week has gone past without a stranger mentioning to him how much he resembles Richard Gere. He’s exaggerating, of course, but even I admit that the resemblance is definitely there.
He’s aging better than Gere, though.
