I just found a new one for me: So Claire Dunphy is played by Julie Bowen on Modern Family. But on Nashville, a show broadcast on the same channel 30 minutes later, the character Scarlett is played by Aussie singer/actress Clare Bowen.

Sorry if this has been a recent thread - when I found this new one, I thought I would toss it out there…

I found a box of old Playboys in the basement, so I’ve been flipping through them. It’s hilarious to read questions in the Playboy Advisor that are essentially identical to ones still asked in advice columns today. (Will aspirin in Coca-Cola knock out the drinker?) It’s wild to think that the Playmate never showed as much a a nipple in any of the pictures that surrounded her centerfold.

Anyway, the December 1963 Playboy After Hours column talked about a game called Unlikely Couples.

I don’t know which I should admit: that I’m old enough to heard of most of them or that there were so many that stumped me. (I wasn’t buying Playboy in 1963, though. I don’t know where some of these issues came from.)

I so want Ben Elton & Elton John to write a musical together, just to see their names on the theatre marquee

Elton Dean should join them.

Not much chance of that; he died in 2006.
