CERN is webcasting its trial rollout...

…at 3:30 am tomorrow morning. See it at CERN Live Events Website (Webcast)

My question is, can you suggest how to pre-record the event, like I would with a DVR? I don’t want to stay upall night.

For those who missed the announcement…

“…they will try to send out the first beam of protons around a 17-mile racetrack known as the Large HadronCollider, 300 feet underneath the Swiss-French border outside Geneva.” (NYTimes, 9/9/08** Fingers Corssed, Physicists AreReady for Collider to Roll**, Page F2)

No answer, sorry – but I’ll be up through the night and wanted to thank you for pointing this out.

I’m hoping there’s something on YouTube tomorrow when I get home from work.

(if the world’s still here that is ;))

Good idea! Now we can all go to bed. You too, rhythmdvl!

It better be here, nothing is smashing until late October, if they manage to blow up the world with a laser that doesn’t hit anything they DESERVE it.

Grrrrr!!!
