certain strange people

How many of them were there? I can’t imagine where there would be more than one Buick Grand National in a 100 mile radius of anywhere. There weren’t that many of them to begin with, and 20+ years later, they’re pretty rare. Are you sure they weren’t just Regals dressed up to look like a Grand National?

You are either imagining things, or you’re not telling us any of the relevant details while you clearly think that you are. Neither are good signs.

Seriously: you sound like one of my friends did when his schizophrenia was acting up. If that’s the case with you I have no illusions of this post making any real impact, but you may want to consider speaking with a doctor.

andy1–you seem to be a nice guy.

But a number of people here suspect that you may need professional medical help.

We are not abusing you.

You need help.

Please look for it.

It would be a LOT easier to troll if you weren’t channeling Don Van Vliet.

That would be Captain Beefheart to all you lesser mortals…

Trout-mask replica aside, Beefheart usually made more sense.

How do you know I’m not Britney Spears?

There’s lots of Grand Nationals around. It’s the GNXes that are rare. (Only three in my area, for example.)

That said, Andy, if I were to see these people, I’d call them guidos. Italian New Jerseyites who saved up, bought a fancy sports car when young, and either can’t afford to replace it, or enjoy keeping it together. I fail to see how this is a threat.

Q: Is this proof that Roy Orbison is alive and well and running America…?

We don’t appear to be accomplishing much here. Thread closed.

andy1, take good care.
