Please correct. Thanks!
Is anyone else seeing this? I’m not seeing it on my system.
I’m not, at least not on my smartphone. Firefox (mobile) latest version. What browser is this on, @aceplace57?
I don’t understand how Duck-Duck-Go enters into this, either.
I’m not seeing it on my Windows 11 laptop. In fact, Chrome tells me the site is secure.
I’ll check the site later on my Win 10 laptop with Edge.
I’m surprised all the main browsers aren’t reporting the same. They should be testing the certificate the same way.
This is what makes me think that it may be a problem with your browser or system, and not an actual problem with the certificate itself. Usually if someone goofs and lets the certificate expire, it affects everyone.
It’s you. Are you using a proxy?

I’m good. Brave + Win11:
I’m now posting from Windows 10 using Firefox 128.5.1 esr. Certificate is just fine.
I’m now posting from the same Windows 10 PC but using Chrome 131.0.6778.140. Certificate is still fine.
My VPN isn’t on.
Other sites are reporting fine.
Ok, I tried enabling protections and now the certificate is fine.
I don’t know how that page switch got turned off. I didn’t know that setting for a site was there.
Learned something today. Thanks for your help.
No problem here.
What is the malware and ad-infested site the OP is using for their image hosting? Good god man, that is some dangerous shit.
I don’t recall ever having issues with ImgBB, but I also adblock like a mother.
Also, let me reask, because it hasn’t apparently been noticed: @aceplace57 , what does Duck Duck Go have to do with this? Because it’s in the filename, but normally it’s completely not related to any of this situation.
It’s my browser.
My phone screenshot names the files using the browser name.
I thought ImgBB is what’s recommended here? I use it because it doesn’t ask for email registration.
What image hosting do you prefer?
As rarely as I do it, I tend to prefer Imgur. But again, it’s mostly habit and I don’t see a meaningful difference between that and IBB, since (as noted earlier) I adblock vociferously. So I see nothing but content.
DuckDuckGo
Has a built-in ad blocker. I don’t see ads here or IMGBB
I have been seeing ads on Sdmb for a couple weeks. I know now it’s because protections were off.
Ads are gone since I found that switch.
I’m glad that red dot warned me there was a SSL problem. I’ll know next time what to check.
My corporate firewall totally blocks ImgBB. Imgur has always been fine. From this I conclude that ImgBB is moderately sketchy.
I’ll reiterate that I’ve had zero issues with imgBB and is what I use for my wargaming screenshots, but like others I use an effective adblocker. I just scanned it using the site https://sitecheck.sucuri.net and it didn’t find anything.
