Took me a few seconds to get the joke.
OK, this is from the extended cut of The Martian. If you’ve read the book, you know they toned down some stuff for a PG rating. Good job, too, IMHO, as it did nothing to harm the story and broadened its appeal considerably. But the extended version includes Mark’s response to learning they didn’t tell the Hermes he was alive. Benedict Wong guilelessly asks, ‘what’s a felcher’.
Well, there’s two schools of thought, sir.
