The state that issued the birth certificate determines whether or not it’s valid. Every other state is required to accept it as proof of whatever the state of issue accepts it as. If Hawaii says it’s proof of birth in Hawaii, then all 49 other states are required to accept it as such, period. Arizona isn’t allowed to say “but it’s not a long form birth certificate, so we won’t accept it,” because Arizona has no role in determining what is and isn’t valid as far as Hawaiian birth certificates go.
Document classification is the responsibility of the executive branch, so the president pretty much gets to decide for himself what security clearance he has.

What proof would you accept? Do you have to physically see and inspect the long-form birth certificate for yourself? Would you know how to recognize a forgery, or analyze the paper in a lab? Hypothetically, if it had passed your inspection, would you expect like-minded people to take your word it was genuine; or is there anyone whose testimony would convince you it was genuine?
Lets be precise, he is complaining that some people in Kenya claim that Obama was/is not eligible. He has told us many times that he is not a birther, so we have to deduce that the COoT is despairing that those poor birther people in Kenya will suffer severe damage by not being able to analyze or inspect the paper in their labs…
Yes, that still sounds retarded even in legal terms, AFAIK when one pretends not to be the harmed party while acting butt hurt in this issue, and it is even more retarded when one realizes that there are no relatives of Obama complaining about this issue.

I still don’t get how the birthers (and the not posh enough to be a birther contingent) are going to be happy, even in a theoretical sense - obviously they’ll never be happy in the real world, since they don’t visit. Are they all going to line up at the state document repository in Hawai’i and each take a week or two to examine the documents, using their forensic skills learned from CSI? Since none of them will accept an analysis done by anyone else, this would seem their only solution.
