changing flights in Istanbul

I’m looking a a trip from Tel Aviv to New York via Turkish Air, which means I’ll be changing planes in Istanbul. I’ve been through the airport there before, but it’s been a while. One of the flights I’m looking at has a 1 hour layover, another has a 1 hour 25 minute layover. Is that enough time to get from one plane to the next?

I don’t remember the Istanbul airport being excessively large, and I won’t have to claim luggage or go through customs. Is it doable?

Thanks.

Provided both flights are at the main Istanbul airport - not Gocken, which is an hour away the other side of the city. My one time in Ataturk airport it seemed of moderate size, so I would guess you are OK - IIRC Turkish flies into Ataturk and Pegasus flies into Gocken from Ben Guron.
