I want to change a bunch of slides (more than 100) from an old format to a new format. Different colors, logos, etc. Is there a simple way to do this? The best I’ve been able to sort out is to go in and alter each individual layout.
Thanks,
Shibb

You can apply a new Template to all slides or a selection of slides, apply a background or color scheme to all slides or a selection of slides, or goto Slide Master to change font, point size, color, and add any objects, then reapply the master to all slides.
I’m not sure what you mean by “alter each individual layout” - do you mean the Slide Layout?
There are several different slide templates in use, depending on the content involved.
OK then: Slide Sorter view, drag-select or CTRL+Click on each slide in which you want to change templates, color schemes, backgrounds, etc. Then select the new one and it will apply to that non-contiguous selection of slides.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.
Okay, this is where I get confused. I go to the Slide Sorter view of my presentation, and CTRL-click or select, then my options are:
Cut
Copy
Paste
New Slide
Delete Slide
Check for Updates
Format Background
Hide Slide
If I am in the Slide Master I can do Inserts and Duplicate.
What am I missing?
By Ctrl+Click, I mean hold down CTRL and click to select the slide images themselves in Sorter View. With your slides selected, go to the Design tab and choose whatever slide design / background / color scheme you want - it will only apply to the selection of slides.
