How do you copy or transfe a slid from one powerpoint file to another? Is there a simple command that does this?
Go to slide sorter view, right click on slide, choose Copy. Point wherever you want the copy to go, right click, choose Paste.
I think it’s way easier to use the upper menu command INSERT, then choose INSERT SLIDES FROM FILES
You’ll get a pop-up window that’s pretty self-explanatory, you can either type in the name of the file you want to pull from or you can BROWSE your computer or documents. Then you can select any slides from any other presentation and insert them in. Much easier than copy-and-paste, especially if you want to bring in more than one slide… and it automatically adapts the backgrounds.
