PowerPoint Q - Combining notes

I’m bad at taking notes in class, my notes absolutely suck. Luckly our teachers give us their Powerpoint presentations and most people in class take their notes in the note field of Powerpoint, and I know some people who give me their notes. However, sometimes I’ll make a note of something said in class that someone else doesn’t take.

So, my question is: Is there a way easily combine powerpoint slides, and especially the notes in them, without overwriting anything that is different?

You’ll get the slides along with the Notes, but you can Insert | Slides From File to get them all. If you don’t want the formatting to change, enable “Keep Source Formatting.”

You didn’t say what version, but in PPT 2007 you would go to Home | New Slide | Reuse Slides, then Browse for whatever file you’re looking for. You can browse the file itself and only select the slides you want within that file.
