Hi, everyone. I have a laptop with a ‘full’ keyboard that includes a number pad. I already know how to switch the keyboard layout - I use Dvorak exclusively.
What I want to know is - is there a way to change the layout of the numbers on the number pad? At present, it goes
789
456
123
0 , and I want it to go
123
456
789
0 .
Is this possible, or am I SOL? Any help greatly appreciated. Either my google-fu is weak, or this is not a question anybody asks…

For Windows you need to use a key remapping tool like this:

You’ll also need to read up on how to remove and replace scissor-type keycaps. It’s pretty much ‘pry them off, press them back on’, but a little bit of devil in the details.
Oh, I’ve never bothered to do that - I just touch type, and leave the keys where they are.
Ah, okay - a little more effort than I thought it would be, but I’ll look into it.
Many thanks, Stranger!
Similar question: is there a way to flip the orientation of a virtual keyboard on a tablet to make it more lefty? For example the location of the Enter / Return key forces primary usage by the right hand.
There is a left-handed mode option buried in the options for GBoard on Android, but I am not sure if it affects the whole keyboard - it’s under ‘one-handed mode’ so it may only affect a subset of the functions
