i vaguely remember seeing a charlie brown movie when i was a kid that involved them camping outside of a castle. (in france?) and snoopy went to a cafe…? (i think that was the same one) i’m looking through descriptions of the different movies now and i can’t find it. does anyone know which one it is?

It’s Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown,if I’m not mistaken.
They take a trip to England and France, and Charlie Brown ends up outside an old Chateau that he got a letter from. It’s not haunted, but rather there’s a guy there that doesn’t like them.
Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don’t Come Back!) was the fourth and final film featuring the Peanuts characters. Charlie Brown, Linus, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie were foreign exchange students in a French school. This allowed them to tour France. Charlie Brown did stay at the Chateau of the Bad Neighbor, which wasn’t haunted, but does have a man who’s not fond of them, and later catches on fire. Snoopy came along as well, and lives out his World War I Flying Ace fantasies (including visiting a cafe) where they really happened.
More of the gang’s visit to France was revealed in the TV special What Have We Learned, Charlie Brown?, where we learn they visited the battlefields and such of World War II.
