The biggest problem with Charmed is that the writers are stupid. I mean, I tried, very hard, to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they don’t have any logical consistency to their “universe” at all. It’s badly written. In the first few seasons it could be harmless fun and it always made me feel superior to the writers.
But…I also follow the Charmed recaps on TWOP. VERY funny.
Buffy, on the other hand, was brilliant at it’s best. Joss Whedon has more wit in his little toe than all the Charmed writers have ever dreamed of having.
