Thinking of the nostalgiafests like Ready Player One and Stranger Things, as well as the cash-in/revisit attempts (Transformers, TMNT, etc.)… and my own formative years heading into the late 80s and early 90s.
Has anyone ever seen an illustration of when, exactly, were the peaks in popularity of the various franchises — Pac-Man, He-Man, Transformers, Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, etc.?
I think it’d be really interesting to see which ones had longer or shorter crests than you might guess, which fads predated others, etc.
