Cheapest Destination in Europe

Ok, this question might be a little obscure, and specific, but I can’t seem to find airline tools that would let me find the answer without spending 48 hours trying oddball queries.

What airline/stop-over/date-time combination would allow me to travel from OAK/SFO/SJC to an airport served by EasyJet in europe that is either in Great Britain or a Schengen country(preferrably with flights to Rome and Amsterdam) rountrip for a week in June. For two adults. In the cheapest possible fashion(we’re students)

For example, I could fly to SFO<->LON Jun 8th with return trip on Jun 15th for $950 a person, but that’s entirely out of my price range. Flights need not be non-stop. but preferrably should not exceed 24 hours with layovers.

This is definitely a factual question with a factual answer(however I don’t know anybody who would have access to such information), but if somebody could point me in the direction of finding this information for myself I’d be very happy.

If I could only have SQL level access to Yahoo! Travel

Thank you,

Now that I think about it, this might belong in GQ, so if any of the mods feel I would get a better answer there feel free to move this.

Thank you

Now that I think about it, this IS in GQ.

Those mods are quick.

Go to Travelocity and use their Dream Maps feature to narrow things down. Then try their various flexible dates options and Fare Watchers.

http://www.whichbudget.com/ gives a full list of European low-cost airlines. As you may or may not know, make sure your combinations are to the same airport, and not just the same city name. Transferring between some airports can cause big hassles and costs.

If you want cheap, stick to eastern europe.

Or fly to Ireland and use RyanAir from there.

Dublin hasn’t been Ryanair’s biggest hub for many years. London Stansted is.

Since you want to go to Amsterdam, there’d be certain advantages if you could fly there from the US. From Amsterdam, you can take a quick and cheap and very often running bus to Rotterdam, which is a nice and small airport with a decent selection of budget flights (check www.transavia.com).
