Cheapest possible laptop that will run Office 365?

Hey all,
So it’s almost my birthday, and my sister has agreed to get me a laptop… but it must be CHEAP. All it needs to do, and I mean ALL, is to run Office. It will almost never even be used to go online. Just office. Just a word processor. That’s it. I have a couple of extra Office licenses to use, I’m already paying for them, and I will be using one of them. So it has to at least run Windows 7. There are some used laptops around here that are possibilities, but I wanted to see if people had some suggestions about new ones. Remember… it doesn’t have to have lots of processing power; it will virtually never be used for anything but writing (with a bit of Excel and a smidge of Powerpoint.) Thanks in advance…

You’re in luck… in order to counter the surge in Chromebook sales, Microsoft and its hardware partners are pushing ultra-cheap Windows laptops at the minute.

You are clearly psychic!! :slight_smile: I ended up getting the HP Stream 13 in orchid purple. It looks ideal-- I use my desktop for anything that requires real processing power.
