Jesus H. Christ! One of the Concordes just crashed in Paris?
What’s this gonna mean for the future of super-sonic passenger travel?

full story:

Supersonic transport didn’t have much of a future as a broad market anway. The Concorde fleet doesn’t operate at a profit even at the huge prices charged. We’ll probably be bombarded by news reports of the celebreties that died on the flight - let’s face it, ordinary folks can’t afford the $7-10k ticket price - but life will go on. The world has kept turning after 747 crashes where several times more people died.

Actually, probably not, because it was chartered by a German tourist group.
