Wow, you can really taste the kale!
The bartender’s name was Earl, and, for some inexplicable reason, Sam decided to fire him and keep klutzy, useless Rebecca, since, after all, she was their friend.
Alright, what state was Paul from? I guess Washington. It just jumps out at me.
Woody’s middle name is the same as Kirk’s: Tiberius.
#um…42) Where did Woody go on his weeklong vacation?
-
Which of these was NOT a prank by Gary or to Gary:
a) Doctor tells Sam he broke the foot of a basketball player.
b) Mugs in bar replaced by dribble glasses
c) FBI informs bar that mob wants vengance for a practical joke gone bad.
d) Bar door explosion. -
What is the name of the bar in the exterior shot?
The airport.
The Bull and Finch.
I’m glad this thread was resurrected! Should I go ahead and answer the question about Paul’s home state? OK, it was…
Hawaii.
This was revealed when the barflies were considering a winter dip in the ocean. Paul replied that as a boy, every day, he’d swim in the ocean, regardless of the time of year. After the others left, he revealed that he grew up in Hawaii.
More questions? Please? Someone?

Did anyone besides me enjoy the show “The Tortellis?”
He said his dad was dead.
Close…but no cigar.
- Dana Delaney was the Vette woman, I believe.
- Yes, he revealed once that his dad was dead.
- Man, I used to know this, but it’s not coming to me. Didn’t she play the one who had a date with a cop? Drat.
- I dunno. Let the cast improvise?
- No.
Speaking of Frasier’s dad, there was one episode where that actor played a sleazy ad writer who just wrote new lyrics to popular tunes. His name was something like Sy Flembeck.
And not only did he once mention that his dead was dead, he also said that he was some big research scientist who was against his son’s ambitions of becoming an actor.
Superdude’s question 3: The episode is like a fog in my mind. I remember something but not quite enough. I seem to remember that he took a plane there or something and he drove to the airport and left the car in the lot. So I guess Sam was proud that he at least drove to the airport.
#42, There was the time Woody spent his vacation time at the airport, but if that’s not the answer to your question, Ender, I would say that he went to England (or all of Europe) with his girlfriend.
I got this from a trivia book about Cheers :
What did everyone yell out when Norm entered the bar? That’s easy, of course. They said, “Norm!” But what did Diane say?
This I got from my own head:
1)According to Carla’s family tradition, what happens to someone who insults the mother in her own house?
2)To incorporate Woody into the show, as Coach’s replacement, after Nick Colosanto’s death, what relationship was he said to have had with the late coach Pantusso?
3)When Cliff’s girlfriend is fired from the USPS, what drastic measure was she considering before finally deciding to join the Canadian post office?
4)What kind of meat do they serve at Norm’s favorite restaurant, the Hungry Heifer? (Hint: It’s not quite beef).
That should be “Dad was dead.”

“Norman”

They were ‘pen pals’. They didn’t write back and forth, they sent pens back and forth.
I’m willing to grant that the answer to my question is an airport. But I could have sworn the answer was “bus stop.” If that’s not correct, I apologize and give it to Robot Arm.
Anyone wanna guess #43? I mean, I gave you the answer…
To incorporate Woody into the show, as Coach’s replacement, after Nick Colosanto’s death, what relationship was he said to have had with the late coach Pantusso?
Woody wrote to bars all over the country in hopes of fulfilling his dream to be a big city bartender. Coach was the only one who wrote back.
What kind of meat do they serve at Norm’s favorite restaurant, the Hungry Heifer? (Hint: It’s not quite beef).
One-hundred-percent, grade-A, choice bef. (“What’s the problem, you don’t hear me complaining about the loobster.”)
I’m willing to grant that the answer to my question is an airport. But I could have sworn the answer was “bus stop.”
If I remember correctly, Woody was distracted while leaving on his vacation and spent the whole week hanging out at the airport. When he got back to Cheers he told everyone about what a great time he had meeting people from all over the world. Rebecca told him that he wasn’t scheduled to work until the next day so he hurried out of the bar saying “I hear great things about the bus station.”

Yep…Dana Delaney

True

In this episode, the phone rings, and Coach is on the other end (you never actually see or hear him, just Sam). Sam listens for a minute, and says “Well, we’re all proud of you, Coach.” He then hangs up. Someone asks, “he got his license, huh?” Sam replies, “No, he found Vermont.”

Leah Remini, who was on “Fired Up” with Sharon Lawrence, and is now on “King of Queens.”

After the writers finished the guideline for the script, they would all retreat into separate rooms to write the jokes. Whoever had the best one was used. If two or more writers had the same joke, they threw it out, and tried again.

C. That was a prank pulled by Sam on Norm, Cliff, Carla, and (I think) Woody to get even with them for one they pulled on him.

They have to spend the night in the bed that retracts into the wall while it’s retracted into the wall.

As she walked over a bridge contemplating her situation, she thought about joining UPS.
