The nearest opening is 1.d4 d5 2. e4 dxe4. It’s called the Blackmar-Diemar, and White gets some play for the pawn (but not enough to get Grandmasters to play it).
There are some fine names of chess openings. My favourite is the Monkey’s Bum. It goes 1.e4 g6 2. Bc4 Bg7 3. Qf3 e6 4. d4!?.
I have actually played this in an international event - and drew against a 2350! The name comes from a chap at the English chess club ‘Streatham & Brixton’. When they showed him the opening, he remarked “If that’s playable, I’m a Monkey’s Bum!”
I’m afraid 1. d4 Nf6 2. e4 is just a dubious sacrifice. We can’t name it after a Doper. Hang on a minute…
Judit Polgar would not make a ‘dubious sacrifice’ of her poor pawns, she would come out swinging and kick everyone’s arse at chess. Judit Polgar I am not.
But it’s flattering to have such an… interesting… opening named after me
winks back at ronincyberpunk, smooches SiouxChief for such a wonderful compliment
Enough kibitzing and schmoozing!

I have indeed played a few games at that site.
But it couldn’t have been a Sicilian Najdorf - if I was White I play 2. c3 v the Sicilian and I don’t play the Sicilan as Black!
Very true glee, I should have specifically said ‘Kyth’ instead of either of you. My apologies. I’m just waiting to see how this plays out and see what I can learn from it.
