Dinner is great. I’ll make the reservation tomorrow late afternoon for ~6:30pm on Thursday and report back once it’s set. I’ll also let them know we’ll have some number of late arrivals, for those who can’t come for dinner, or just don’t have the patience to be around for so long with all of these imaginary friends.

I won’t make dinner, and I’m still a maybe for drinks. Is the plan to move from a table to the bar after dinner? Will someone post the group’s whereabouts around 8 or so (and/or wear a chicken hat or something)?
No, the plan is to stay put, since the bar at Goose Island isn’t really conducive to big groups. I don’t access the boards on my phone, but someone else may be willing to post it. However, if you come in & ask for the Cecil Adams group, they’ll get you to us, no problem.
You can just look for me. I’m the black person.
I’m also skipping dinner. Being places at 6/6:30 is always a pain for me as it’s just in the right window of being annoying to go to after work and hard to get to on time if I go home first, so 8 it is. Plus, let’s not kid ourselves; I do this for the drinking.

Okay, so, reservation update:
I made the reservation under “Cecil Adams” for 6:30 pm for four, which appears to be the number of people who will be at dinner, with a note that says four to five more will be joining us at 8:00 pm.
If anyone would feel better with a phone number to contact, in case you’re late or get lost or would just feel better with it, PM me and I’ll get you mine.
Oh, not a bad idea, Least Original User Name Ever. I’d be happy to do the same. Also, since I’m dropping stuff off in the area earlier in the day, I’ll be there a touch before 6:00pm, in case anyone else expects to be there early. (I figure I might as well be there for the tapping if I’m in the area - free beer sample!)
I also figure that if I’m there early, I can confirm the weirdness of the reservation, and make sure we have sufficient space for when folks join us.
