My sister-in-law is due sometime in May, so it’s possible I might be in Chicago around that time. Then again, even if I am, that’s no guarantee I’ll be able to make it, but who knows?

Well, we’re still waiting to hear from GL Wasteful, Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Rastahomie, Mr. and Mrs. elelle, and the waitress from the Spot about when they want to make the trip. DavidB and Flyp, you’re both driving up too. No arguing on this. If Unclebeer can make it all the way from Ohio, and Falc can get here from DC, you guys can spare the 3 hours to drive up from Spiffled.
Any more input about where we’re going to meet? Also, I noticed that last time it seemed to be a lot easier when Flyp started emailing everyone to make the plans. Should someone do that for Chicago2000?

Hell, I’d email everyone, but I don’t live in Chicago, so don’t know what use I’d be in planning. shrug Also, do we have a wekeend/place decided upon? I’d like to get plane/hotel reservations sooner rather than later.
And I’ll second Valerie’s comments to Flyp and DavidB - if I’m flying out from DC, (and rumor has it Sassy may fly in from Cali!), you can drive three hours.

Alright, I live in Chicago and I have a lot of free time. I guess I can start an email list and do some of the planning, but you other Chicagoans feel free to jump right in
So, first off, it’d be a HUGE help if everyone that’s thinking of attending could email me, especially w/ the weekends you’re able to come.
Also, we need to decide where to go, so that’s where the other Chicagoans can really help out. We also have to consider hotels for the out-of-towners and proximity to whatever bar/restaurant we end up choosing.

Okay, is anyone from Spiffled surprised that Valerie JUST woke up at 1 in the afternoon? Didn’t think so.
I just had another thought. Who here knows the laws about renting cars? Because to get to the hotel, I’ll need one…but last I checked, they don’t rent to people under 25.
