26th-Sorry, you people need to roll your joints tighter if you think I’m giving up Memorial Day weekend. Uhh, so that’d be a no on my part, and probably for a few others.
I think it’d be better for Joph and Tal the later in the month we have it, and although Dem is a very sketchy “maybe”, his only weekend is the 20th. So, we’re not going to see everybody, no matter how we slice this pie.

Anyway, I’m fine for any of those weekends except Memorial Day. Honestly, I’d prefer the 12th (Hey, my mother’s in Tennessee. I can call her from anywhere, dammit…), only because I could combine seeing y’all and Max at the same time. (Hey, I’m a poor analyst. So shoot me.) Just tell me what weekend to get the plane tickets for, and I’m cool.

Y’all - there are some family issues beginning to crop up. Unfortunately, when you’re the oldest child…anyway, I won’t bore you with details, but I can’t give a firm date right now. I may be in AZ for the better part of May - I’ll have to let you know.
BUT - if things work out ok, then as long as it isn’t Labor Day weekend, I’m good to go.

Apologies to GL, but doesn’t the 5th seem to be the most logical choice? We seem to be running into problems the later we get into the month.
Hopefully the Chicago-area dwellers would be able to make it to at least one of the two nights.

Well, earlier in the month means less of a chance to see Joph and Tal, since his work is heavier at the front of May and lightens as we move to the back. Consensus seems to be either the 12th or the 19th. Since those weekends are problems, why don’t we just wait to see what the other’s votes are? If it comes down to it, Omni and I will just have to bow out. We’ll live, I’m sure.

Flyp - how come the 5th doesn’t work again? So far we’ve only had one person that definitely can’t make it. Joph and Tal live close - I’m sure they could fit us in at some point (just a guess, but I’m hoping). It works for Valerie. Am I missing something?

She’s been more than gracious recently, and has a present for me, so I’m trying to make it as easy as possible for them to be there. But, as I said, I’ll get the mail out as soon as I can, asnd we’ll go from there.

banging head aginst desk Okay, I just found out the 5th will not work for me. No way, no how. I have a conference in Vegas the 8th to the 11th, and I need to be here the weekend before it. (The 12th MIGHT still work…I’m trying to see if I can fly back to a different city than I left from. Of course, this also all assumes I’m still AT this job in May.)
In any event…looks like the 20th is my best bet.

Well, I got missed in the Flypsyde mass email, but as I said to Val in my first email to her, any of those weekends are about equally good for me at this point (i.e. equally likely to require me to cancel personal plans for someone else’s convenience).
My current known restrictions are: Sunday, May 13 is out. Saturday, April 29 is probably out (subject to change, in which case, some other day will be out). If this moves into June, that’s a whole 'nother can of worms.
