Well I can do this Friday. Gotta be in the area anyway at around 8ish, so I can swing by for a while, say hi, have a drink or four. Cannot go next Friday, as I have a date with Nate Silver. Booyah! Well, okay, I have a date with this guy I know, but we’re going to go see Nate Silver. Some not-so-stealth bragging for ya about something completely lame.
We’re canceled tonight, correct?
I’m going to have to say I’m not doing this during a weeknight, including Fridays, before 8pm.
I took a day off work today to make sure I’d be able to get downtown and obviously won’t be doing that again.
I’m easy. I live near the GA so I can still go. Going to grab an early cocktail with some work colleagues otherwise I can make it.
Ok, let’s keep it tonight as originally scheduled. We can always organize another one in the spring for those who can’t make it. I’ll be carrying a copy of the reader, and make sure it is at the table once we are seated to make it easier to find us.

We were scheduled for 6, but I’ll be there probably closer to 630 or so. Does that work for everyone ? We will have separate checks, can stay as long as people want, we’ll be there until past 8 so the later people can stop by
Okay, well I can show 6:30 or 7:00ish. You’ll all have the horrible, horrible misfortune of seeing me for maybe an hour and a half, then I have to hit the road to get raucously drunk.
Oh, and if I can’t spot you guys, flag me down. I’m pretty easy to spot. I’m the black lady. My uniform is eyeglasses and big earrings. I’d tell you what shirt I’ll be wearing, but I can’t plan that far in advance.
