Well, actually…Mt. Hood is in Oregon, I’m in Washington, so you might be thinking of our gorgeous Mt. Rainier. It’s about a 45 minute drive from my house.
Um, B.C. It’s nice, I’ve been there, but now I need a damn passport. They are taking forever to process here now.
The San Juans would be cool. I have never actually been there and would love to go.

So this is Friday the 7th we’re talking about, right? I’m tentatively in, dependent on the mother of the tyke I babysit. He’s supposed to be picked up at 6:30, but if her shift (hospital nurse) goes long, sometimes it’s late. So if she’s on time and I can rush out the door, I’d be there 7ish, at least in time for desert and coffee.
How do we recognize each other? Do we ask the hostess where the startlingly attractive geeks are sitting? Will there be a big "CITE? :dubious: " sign?
Protocol is for someone to contact the restaurant and get a reservation in the name Cecil Adams.

I might be a little late, depending. I’m taking Friday off, but I have a 1-5 cable install appointment, so God knows when the guy will show. According to some paperwork I got today, the estimated time to install in my apartment is 195 minutes … WTF??

I can make it if I don’t take my flight out on Friday night. I probably have to fly back into Chicago this Sunday anyway (I’ve been working in nearby Michigan the last couple of weeks, and probably will next week, too). So I’m considering it, especially as I was going to fly in early on Sunday anyway.
Consider me a very wishy-washy maybe.
