As an expatriate New Yorker, there are several foods that I just can’t find (in edible form) here in the Midwest. I wonder if anyone has come across any recipes for the genuine New York dishes of Chicken Francese (I tried one I saw on the Internet once, and it wasn’t close) and Linguini with White Clam Sauce (I’ve tried a few recipes for this, and it just comes out as this disgustingly spiced, greasy mess), that taste like they do in those little NYC mom and pop pizza places with Italian restaurants attached to them?
