Shaun never was as big as David Cassidy, Shirley Jones or Jack Cassidy. And he wasn’t as talented as either of them.
David is her Shirley’s stepson. Shuan had a brief career as a teen Idol, but it never matched David’s impact. I think Shuan is a behind the camera guy now. David Cassidy is still an icon to many woman and still performs.
Shirley Jomes was a star on Broadway, and not just in revivals. She won an Oscar, and has had a successful career for over 50 years

It’s like the Voight-Jolie comparison.
Their talent may be close to equal, but I’d still give the edge to Donald.

Andrew Wyeth is a more celebrated painter than his dad N.C. Wyeth (though I personally have more copies of N.C.'s stuff. Hey, Andrew: MORE PIRATES).
Hmm, I don’t know. Donald has, over his career, shown a range of performances in action, drama and comedy, playing all sorts of characters. What has Keifer done of note other than 24? One role does not a career make.
And his father is still more handsome, and has perhaps the sexiest (male) voice in Hollywood.

Cliff Townshend played sax for a popular dance band called The Squadronaires. His son, Peter, has been somewhat more successful.
Goldie’s the one with the Oscar (and one other nomination). And Goldie has a better body of work. Kate’s got Almost Famous and not much else of note.
