I swear I can recall a series by the name of Mrs. Pickerill - NOT to be confused with Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. My spelling may be off, but doesn anyone else recall this children’s series? I can’t recall much about it, even! Can anyone help me flash back to the 1970’s? - Jinx
The title character’s name is Miss Pickerell. I remember reading the ones in which she Goes to Mars and Goes to the Arctic. Had I been born later than 1959 and/or had kids, I’d probably be familiar with more volumes in the series.
