One more update. We’re getting pretty settled. Had 2 birthdays, 1 broken arm (eldest twin) that was put in a hot pink cast today, got mobile numbers (what a protected racket with crap service), identified the neighborhood(s) we like, probably will finalize a rental house this week in Bridle Trails, and checking out a day care tomorrow that will accomodate special needs kids on a case by case basis, seen about a dozen homes for sale (but nothing that has grabbed us yet so will lease and go for the slow search moving forward), managed to watch some World Cup, my English boss described their performance as “disgraceful”, etc. So, we’re getting settled.
I’ve been taking some culture shock notes and will share that at some point.
