Finally tracked some down this weekend. I like it. It reminds me of the late stages of a cherry Tootsie Pop, when you’re getting equal parts cherry candy and tootsie roll in each lick. Yummm!

That sounds like a pretty good description. I have to admit, I’ve bought two more bottles since the first. It’s better than having a candy bar when I want something sweet.

I used to **love **Canfields Diet Chocolate Soda… and I was in love with Diet Cherry Coke, Diet Cherry Pepsi and Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper… so I figured this would be amazing… I was doing the happy dance in the grocery store…
I carried the bottle home like it was liquid gold, threw some ice in a huge glass - poured out the nectar of the Gods - took a great big swig - and almost vomited! OH MY GOD was it VILE!
They finally bring another kind of Diet Dr Pepper to Canada, and it’s THIS crap? I even tried it a couple of more times over the last week - and still the same - putrid…
Note to self - send a letter to Dr Pepper Canada asking them to burn the recipe for this garbage and bring out Diet Cherry Vanilla instead…
I tried it last week in a bottle and didn’t like it. Then yesterday morning I had it in a can and liked it. Some drinks really benefit from the extra coldness of being in a can I guess.
I bought a 12 pack about a month ago and thought it was disgusting. I’m a heavy diet soda drinker, and as such, I’m heavily addicted to caffeine. But after just a couple of sips I decided I’d actually rather abstain from caffeine that morning and suffer from withdrawal than to finish the soda. It tasted like cold carbonated coffee to me, and I hate coffee.
Luckily, I found a co-worker who was generous enough to take the other 11 cans off my hands.
