I know it has mention on here before that food cannot stimulate saliva.
I have just eaten a bar of milk chocolate. Saliva is flowing in my mouth. I have tried spitting it out but it keeps coming back.

I have read up on this. It appears there is nothing to suggest chocolate increases saliva.

Unless I am misunderstanding you, your statement that food cannot stimulate saliva is incorrect. In fact, not only does food stimulate the flow of saliva, even the thought of food (or the expectation of food) will also cause saliva to be secreted.
