chocolate-maker = chocolatier; sweet-maker = ?

What is the word for someone who makes sweets (candy)? Also for pastry-chef? Patissier?

While I’m asking, do ice-cream makers get their own word?

Confectioner?

I’ve heard the term ‘bonbonnier’ used in French, I think. Patissier is okay. Not sure about the ice-cream one, though - ‘glacier’?!?

Confectioner looks good - bonbonnier is probably a little too uppity for my context. Thanks for the quick responses, both of you.

Glacier is used for ice cream maker.

Doughnut.

Peace.

Think about it.

Hah, thanks Everton - good guess, Bifar.
